Song Si-yeol

Song Si-yeol (1607 ~ 1689) He was a civil minister of state, a scholar, and a leader of No-ron party in Jo-seon Kingdom period.
Courtesy name is Yeong-bo and pen name is U-am. He pass the exam at the top of the list in 1633 and then he entered into his life as a civil minister of state. In 1635, he was a teacher of Bong-rim, a son of king. In 1658, he suggested a war against China with Hyojong king, but this plan was failed. He was died in 1689. He was more famous as a scholar because he was a great master of metaphysics. He wrote a lot of book in his life time and raised many disciples.
