Jiyong Festival
This festival is held in order to inherit and develop the spirit of his poetry and to cherish the memory of a deceased poet, Jeong Ji-yong, a pioneer of Korean modern poetry, whose imaginative words most aptly reflect our nation's sentiments. With the first festival held in 1988, it is held every May.
